While Fortnite’s Respawn Rumble mode isn’t really its most popular, it suddenly exploded yesterday with waves of players coming in. However, they weren’t really there to play the game mode, but to leverage a glitch which offered them tens of thousands of XP points for doing absolutely nothing. The glitch doled out enough XP to clear entire battle passes in a few hours.
As noted by VideoGamer, Fortnite’s Respawn Rumble mode barely gets 1,000 concurrent players in a day, but that number shot up to over 12,000 once the glitch was discovered. It’s so simple to execute that you can’t even call it an exploit at this point.
How To Perform Fortnite’s Respawn Rumble XP Glitch
There’s not much to perform really. All you need to do is load up into the Respawn Rumble mode and exit it as soon as you’re in the bus. You can then watch Epic give you over 35,000 XP doing absolutely nothing but taking a short bus ride. You can repeat the process as many times as you like to keep the XP rolling in and tick off those battle passes.
Obviously, Epic did not mean to dole out free XP in such a manner, so you can expect the devs to patch it out as soon as possible. Hopefully, they won’t take away the XP you’ve already gained in the process. This is clearly a glitch of some kind; perhaps the intent was to give you the XP for trying out the mode, but no one is actually playing it till the end.
Fortnite Has Once Again Proven Why It Is The Future Of Video Games
Epic Games has delivered one of Fortnite’s best live events yet with the fantastic Zero Hour.
Saying Fortnite is popular might be the understatement of the decade. However, it topped the most played console game list for 2024 and 2025. While Call of Duty beat it out on Xbox in 2024, it regained its position on all fronts in 2025. This year it may have another shooter to contend with, as Arc Raiders has showcased some serious sticking power. In fact, Shroud thinks that it might soon eclipse Epic’s juggernaut.
