How To Play Ventti In My Winter Car

It’s not all about restoring vehicles, driving around a freezing town, and spending time in repetitive and boring jobs in My Winter Car. Sometimes you can interact with NPCs in pretty unique ways. One of these is in the form of Ventti, a card-based game.

If you want some quick money or if you want to spend some time during the winter nights doing something else, you can play this simple-to-learn game. Let’s dive deep into everything you need to know about Ventti and how to find it in My Winter Car.

My Winter Car is on Early Access, and it has tons of bugs. I had some bad experiences preventing me from playing more Ventti and losing money, so always save your game before playing this.

Where To Play Ventti

My Winter Car Ventti Guide (2)

Ventti is available at the Retirement Home, located in the same neighbourhood where you start the game (on the northwest side of the region). The building is a little to the north of where you are: get out of your department, take the main road, and go right. Pass the church, and in the next fork, you’ll see the building’s back on your right.

Enter the Retirement Home from its main entrance, and go to the left side of the building. The door of the room before the last one will be open. However, you need to enter there between 9 pm and 8 am to find your rival.

Bring drinks and food, since you’ll likely spend a good amount of time here, you’ll get hungry, and your Problem bar will go up. Go well-rested so you protect your fatigue, and I also strongly recommend not going early: the other old people at the place are really annoying.

How To Play Ventti

My Winter Car Ventti Guide (1)

Ventti is basically Blackjack, but with another name and only slightly different. If you have never played this classic poker game, you play against a dealer (who seems to be the owner of the Pub Nappo).

You need to bet between 50 and 200 MK per play, and then ask for cards until you reach 21 or less. You lose your bet if you go over 21 or if your dealer is closer to 21 than you. You win if he goes over 21 or if you’re closer to 21 than him.

Contrary to how real Blackjack plays, Kings count for 13, Queens for 12, and Jacks for 11. Also, it seems that the Ace only counts for 1 here, whereas it can be either 1 or 11 in Blackjack.

To place your bet, you need to left-click on the bill on the left, adding 50 MK each time (you can also lower the bet by right-clicking). Then you press the deck on your right, and you’ll receive two cards. Your rival will pick up only one card, and you’ll be able to decide if you want to stay with the cards you already have (left-click on them) or keep asking for more — you’ll pick up one card per turn now.

Never bet 7,000 MK or more during a single night, because your rival doesn’t have more money than that.

And that’s pretty much it, honestly. Blackjack is a game based mostly on luck, where some experienced players have the ability to count cards so they know when they should bet and ask for cards, but most players won’t be able to do that. Ventti is the same thing.

Still, if your jobs aren’t getting you enough money, playing Ventti is a good activity that can earn you some MK if you’re lucky enough.
