The sewers in Schedule 1 offers a balance of risk and reward for players who have progressed far enough through the main storyline. Added to the game in a Halloween update, TVGS creates an underground world with hidden tunnels, helpful resources, and creepy foes. Don’t be scared, though – those foes can be beaten!
While not necessary to complete the game, the sewers do add an extra challenge that players may want to tackle on their way to building their empire. Read on for everything you need to know about heading underground in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1 is currently in Early Access. The details below may change over the course of development!
How To Access The Sewers
To gain access to the sewers, you first need to locate a key. Luckily, there are a few options. The quickest and easiest, however, will set you back $1,000. To simply purchase a key, find Jen Herald in the Uptown region of the map and befriend her. The sewer key is a master key, so you only need to find or purchase it once.
The second option requires you to have progressed enough through the main storyline to have unlocked the Warehouse. This is the location where you can hire NPCs, buy weapons, and purchase meth-making equipment. Here you’ll find Oscar, who can give you a brief description of a random person carrying a key. From here, you can try to pickpocket this person or knock them out and loot them.
The last option is by far the slowest, as it just relies on keeping your eyes open while scouring the map. A sewer key will spawn on the floor somewhere in the Schedule 1 world, but the world is quite large, and it literally could be anywhere. It will take a lot of luck and patience to find the key this way, but it is possible.
If you’d rather skip all of the above options, you can spawn a sewer key into your inventory with the command code ‘give sewerkey‘.

Struggling to use your coca leaves in Schedule 1? You need a cauldron.
How To Navigate The Sewers
Sewer entrances can be large circle gates, doors, or manholes on the road. When you find or purchase the sewer key, it will open any of these entrances, and they will remain unlocked. The sewers are winding tunnels that run underground the main map, and it’s easy to get lost or turned around as it’s very dark.
The map above shows entrances/exits, tunnels, and the Sewer King’s throne room. You can find the entrances under the West Bridge, in the central Canal, near the Motel, by the Slop Shop, in front of the Casino, north of the Town Hall, opposite Handy Hank’s, and at the back of the Storage Unit.
Shrooms can be found in the corners of the tunnels on the floor and/or the walls.
The Sewer Goblin
A new creepy NPC is the alien-looking Sewer Goblin, who will attack you and even kill you if you aren’t able to defend yourself. He will appear after a random amount of time spent in the sewers, and if you’re able to whack him with a bat or another weapon, he’ll scurry off.
A better way to keep the Sewer Goblin from bothering you is to offer him his favorite thing, and that’s a single pack of Meth. Be sure to hold onto the meth and not anything else, as if you’re not holding it, this will cause the Goblin to attack you. After he takes the packet from you, he’ll leave you alone.
The Sewer King
The second NPC added to the sewers with the Halloween update is the Sewer King. Like the Goblin, we don’t know much about him, but he is also very aggressive and will attack you on sight. Once you make it to his throne room (behind a locked door in a Maintenance Office), he will approach you, but he is easily defeated.
The King is very fast, but a few knocks with a baseball bat or shots from a gun will see him knocked down. After that, you can loot him for his Trash Crown and a small amount of cash. However, the real prize is inside the room itself.
Inside the throne room, you’ll find some storage units, a bed, a trash can, and a toilet. There will also be a table of unpacked meth, phosphorus, bottles of acid, and gasoline for you to take. This area can be utilized as an underground space for your operations.
The code to access the throne room is 1111.
