If you want to survive the dangerous, cutthroat world of Arc Raiders, then you’ll need to fight and scavenge for various materials across the five main maps. While most of these materials are used for upgrading Workshop, donating them to your Expedition, or just crafting key gear, some simply exist to be either sold or recycled.
One of these is the Spectrum Analyzer, which is an Epic material that was introduced alongside the Stella Montis map. Here’s where you can find this item and why it’s worth picking up.
Where To Find The Spectrum Analyzer
If you’re looking for a Spectrum Analyzer, you’ll need to head to Stella Montis. At the time of writing this, the Spectrum Analyzer only spawns on this map, meaning you’ll need to head to this dangerous underground base if you want one. Classified as an Exodus material, here are the best places to find this item:
- Assembly
- Assembly Workshops
- Medical
- Lobby
Of these four locations, Assembly and Assembly Workshops are, without question, the best places to find a Spectrum Analyzer. This is due to the abundance of computer stations with white drawers, which consistently produce at least one Epic-tier material. Additionally, you’ll want to focus on checking any of the mobile tool benches and blue cabinets, as these also have a good chance of containing this item.
Keep in mind, Assembly is almost always a hotbed of activity. You should fully expect to not only run into other Raiders, but also ones that want to steal your loot. Thankfully, the ARC presence is pretty minimal, as only a few Fireballs and Pops are roaming around.
If Assembly is picked clean, Medical is a solid alternative. Made up of several labs across two floors, you can find a nice number of drawers and bins you can rummage through. These also have a chance to produce a Spectrum Analyzer; however, the chances are much lower than at Assembly.
Medical is also home to several Shredders, so make sure to keep an eye out for them as they can quickly end your run!
Finally, Lobby is a nice place to check if you’re just passing by. Each of the staircases has small side rooms you can enter to find a couple of containers that often have some nice gear. That being said, the Lobby is extremely dangerous since players are almost always roaming through this area and picking fights.
While the Spectrum Analyzer has no use right now in any quest, upgrade, or crafting, it can be recycled for a single Exodus Module and a Sensor. Because of this, it’s easier to just think of a Spectrum Analyzer as an Exodus Module, as this will be another way to amass this crafting material so you can make various weapons and the Snaphook. Alternatively, you can always sell the Spectrum Analyzer for 3,500 coins if you’re short on cash!
