If you’ve reached the Lahai-Roi area in Wuthering Waves, you’ve likely been playing the game for quite some time. Apart from the main story and character building, it also features a massive open world that you can explore to get a ton of Astrites, though some of them are hidden behind puzzles that you have to solve.
Each region has a special puzzle that you can find in different parts of it, and these puzzles can be quite daunting. The Smartprint Cube Reboot is the main puzzle for Lahai-Roi, and while it starts off quite easy, this puzzle can easily take you a long time after you’ve done a few of them.
How To Solve Smartprint Cube Reboot
When you start one of the Smartprint Cube Reboot puzzles, you’ll notice that the board has a box and a hole. You essentially have to fit the box in the hole to solve the puzzle. However, if you have one of the rectangular boxes, you’ll also have to pay attention to the alignment of the box and the hole.
You can use the direction keys to move boxes in a specific direction. When you move the square box in these directions, it doesn’t make a difference since it’s even on all sides. However, when you move a rectangular box in the same way, it’ll tilt in that direction, which makes it lean in horizontal or vertical directions.
The main trouble with most of these puzzles is aligning the rectangular box perfectly with its hole.
As you progress through these puzzles, you’ll also start having some special tiles, and here’s what they do:
- The yellow tiles with scratches on them will break after any part of the box touches and moves away from them.
- On the other hand, the red tiles can block your path until you step on their respective button and clear them. For a rectangular box, you have to align it perfectly with the button.
- Tiles with arrows on them will throw the box two tiles ahead when you’re fully aligned. However, if the location where the box is supposed to be thrown is occupied, then nothing will happen and your box can stay on the arrow tile.
You have to use all these mechanics and find a way to solve each blocker puzzle. However, we also have direction-based solutions to each one down below.

How To Find Smartprint Cube Reboot
Smartprint Cube Reboot puzzles are one of the main exploration points in Lahai-Roi, which means that you can use the map to locate them easily. To do that, follow these steps:
- Head to the map and click on the compass on the top left regardless of the region you’re in. Here, click on the two half arrows on the top left again.
- This takes you to the screen where you can select the main areas on the left and all the mini-areas within at the center. Select the Roya Frostlands region and click on any of the mini-regions within.
- Once you choose the area, you’ll see a list of all the exploration mechanics in that region. If you see a Smartprint Cube Reboot here, you can click on it and press the track button.
- This will either show you the location of an uncovered cube if you’ve gone near it or show you a general area with a yellow circle. Arrive at the area and you’ll easily spot the cube puzzle.
Some of these puzzles are found at great heights, and you can use your expedition motorbike to scale the cliffs to reach them easily.
All Smartprint Cube Reboot Puzzle Solutions
The areas in Roya Frostlands have a different number of Smartprint Cube Reboot puzzles in them ranging from one to seven. However, these puzzles aren’t dedicated to a specific spot. This essentially means that you’ll likely go through a specific sequence of these puzzles regardless of where you interact with them.
This can be noted with the Blocker ID that you see as soon as you start a puzzle. It starts with one and goes in sequence until 27. With that in mind, here are the directional solutions to each one of these Blocker IDs:
Once you start a certain ID puzzle, you can simply move the box in the directions mentioned in the solution below to solve it.
If there are two boxes in the puzzle, we’ll tell you when you’re supposed to switch between them during the directions.
