Bloober Team’s sci-fi horror game Cronos: The New Dawn is getting an update early next year, introducing a brand new difficulty setting to help out struggling players.
The update will add Temporal Diver difficulty, an easier difficulty level than those available in the game right now.
Unfortunately, there aren’t really any further details at the moment, but it sounds like this will be a mode for those interested in the story but find the enemy encounters too tough.
Cronos: The New Dawn was “developed to challenge the players”, says Bloober Team in the above video, but the new difficulty setting will allow players to “explore the story behind the game in your own pace”.
The game did reasonably well in reviews, but seems to have flown under the radar for many. It’s a time travel action adventure that has you battling nasty enemies that can merge to become stronger.
Hopefully making the game a little more approachable will widen its appeal a little.
