While you may have completed all the Side Missions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s base game, the Mega Dimension DLC has plenty more for you to complete. Like the base game, they’ll unlock as you progress through the story, so you won’t have access to them all right away, but will see them slowly begin to pop up more and more as you complete Main Missions.
One of the Side Missions you’ll unlock will be Side Mission 148: A Sorta Scary Cemetery Story. During this Side Mission, you’ll need to investigate a rumor about a moving gravestone in the Dormez Bien Cemetery, but be prepared for a fight.
Side Mission 148: A Sorta Scary Cemetery Story
To start the Side Mission, head to the north end of Lumiose where you should have a mission icon just east of Wild Zone 13. There, you’ll find Horace, who will present you with the quest. To test if the rumor is true, you’ll first need to meet a couple of requirements.
- It must be night.
- You can only have a single Pokemon in your party— a Ghost or Dark-type Pokemon is recommended.
- You have to enter Dormez Bien Cemetery from the North Gate.
- You must say, “Solitary solo cemeteries are sorta scary.”
So, to begin, you’ll need to change the game from day to night, if it isn’t already. To do this, you can head over to the Pokemon Center near Horace and rest on the bench to pass the time. Once it’s night, head to the northern entrance of the cemetery. Before entering, go ahead and remove all but one of your Pokemon.
As mentioned, it’s recommended that you keep a Ghost or Dark type if you have one. That said, if you don’t, then any Pokemon you have over level 80 or so should be more than enough. When only one Pokemon is in your party, attempt to pass through the gate, and you’ll be prompted to repeat the magic words Horace gave you.
The answers you will need to input in order will be,
- Solitary…
- Solo…
- Cemeteries are…
- Sorta…
- Scary!
As long as you’ve entered the phrase correctly, you should pass through the entrance and initiate a cutscene where you’ll see the explanation for the moving headstone: It’s Houndstone! Several Greavards and a Houndstone will appear, and you’ll be pulled into a battle with them, which is the reason for the Pokemon-type recommendation earlier. This fight will contain two Greavard and one Houndstone.

|---|---|---|---|

You should be able to deal with the trio relatively quickly if you are adequately prepared, but you unfortunately won’t be able to catch Houndstone or the Greavards. That will be restricted to the Hyperspace Wildzones. Once you’ve finished the battle, Horace will head over to the cemetery to hear your report on the rumor and be relieved that it was actually just a few Pokemon.
This conversation will complete the Side Mission, and Horace will reward you with a few thousand Pokemon Dollars as well as the TM for Ominous Wind, which is a Special Attack Ghost TM with 60 Power and a 6s cooldown that will trigger a gust of wind to damage your opponent and might even boost all of your stats in the process.
