Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 feels like a return to form, focusing on arcadey, action-packed engagements that prioritize fast-paced movement and a relatively fast time-to-kill, allowing you to dominate the arena with a well-put-together build. And, if you’re a fan of SMGs, then the excellent Dravec 45 will be your go-to weapon, as it is undoubtedly the best option in the game for its category and can even go head-to-head with most of the game’s ARs.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Best M15 Mod 0 Build
Here’s how to make the best AR even better in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 with this excellent M15 Mod 0 build!
And, as always, you can make the Dravec 45 even better with the proper attachments, allowing you to demolish targets anywhere from close to deep-mid ranges. This thing is an absolute monster and is exhilarating to run around with as you rack up tons of kills and score like it’s nothing, while being able to get out of sight and mind to reposition yourself before going back in for more. This build will enhance the best aspects of this potent SMG, while also allowing you to remain nimble, which is a deadly combination an SMG!
How To Make The Dravec 45 Nearly Unbeatable
As outlined above, the Dravec 45 is far and away the best SMG in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, sporting an excellent time-to-kill that can become even deadlier with the proper attachments. You can drop the close-range time-to-kill from five shots to the body to four, making it an absolute melt machine in close-quarter combat, while also allowing it to hang with most ARs at mid-range encounters with a solid five-shot kill damage range.
While the Dravec 45 will still struggle a bit at longer engagements, with a horrendous seven-shot kill to the body, you will shred anyone remotely close to you, which is where most of your encounters will be anyway, as you are wielding an SMG, after all. Not only that, but thanks to some Perks, you can run around virtually undetected, allowing you to dominate the match without much pushback!
Best Dravec 45 Attachments
|
Attachment |
Pros/Cons |
|---|---|
|
Lethal Tools Elo Optic |
Since the Dravec 45 is a solid mid-range SMG, we cannot recommend this sight enough, as it will make tracking and staying on target substantially more manageable, which is a must. |
|
Hawker Series 45 Muzzle |
Being an SMG, you can expect the Dravec 45 to have lots of recoil, as it has a much faster-than-average fire rate. As a result, equipping this muzzle will drastically reduce its vertical recoil, making it much easier to stay on target when firing. |
|
19″ EAM Horizon Barrel |
While it is a decent mid-range SMG, you won’t be engaging in many long-range encounters, so this barrel will be the most ideal one to use, as you don’t have to worry about leading your targets too much. The massive increase in damage range allows it to shred at close and medium ranges, which is mandatory for SMGs! |
|
Empty Magazine |
Rocking a decent 34-round magazine by default, you don’t really need an attachment for this category, and we recommend leaving this Empty unless you’re running Gunfighter, which you do not need for this weapon. If you insist on using it, go with the Gator Extended Mag. |
|
Herald-Z1 Grip Rear Grip |
Next up is a crucial one, as you will want to shift your focus to your movement, as you will be moving around quite a bit with this SMG. This rear grip will vastly increase your ADS, slide-to-fire, and dive-to-fire speeds, as well as your ADS speed while jumping, keeping you always ready for an encounter! |
|
Empty Stock |
For your stock, this should also be left Empty, as you don’t really need to utilize it. However, if you’re using Gunfighter, you should go with the EAM Heritage Stock or the Defiant-45 Skeletal Stock, but you shouldn’t need them to dominate with this weapon! |
|
Empty Laser |
We are anti-lasers in this household, so even if you’re using Gunfighter, we say nay to the lasers. You’re going to be running around, often on the flank or behind enemy lines; the last thing you need is a laser giving your position away. Leave this category Empty. Always. |
|
Accelerated Recoil System Fire Mods |
Lastly, we have the fire mods category. And this attachment will substantially reduce your horizontal and vertical recoil, allowing you to gundown pretty much anyone with ease at close to mid-range distances. This, when paired with the other attachments we selected, should turn the Dravec 45 into an absolute beast! |
Despite the Dravec 45 being far and above all other SMGs, even without attachments, you only really need to equip the five attachments outlined above to get the most out of it, as running Gunfighter is just overkill at that point. If you find yourself unable to control the recoil, you could sacrifice your movement by replacing the rear grip with a stock. Still, we don’t even really recommend that, as it’s essential to be able to move around freely and react to incoming targets at a moment’s notice!

While you don’t need the Black Hat or Hunter Bot, we strongly recommend keeping the Engineer Perk, as it can help reduce frustration and will also grant you the Recon Comat Specialty Perk. Running these specific Perks makes it nearly impossible for the enemy to detect you until you open fire, which, by that time, is far too late for them!
With the build for the Dravec 45 outlined above, you can see we prioritized being able to move around the map without being detected by your footsteps or by enemy Scorestreaks and Perks. Additionally, running with a Black Hat, Hunter Bot, and the Engineer Perk will allow you to easily detect enemy equipment, which can be incredibly beneficial, as you will be flying around the map and can be obliterated by well-placed explosives.
Aside from that, you will also have the Recon Combat Specialty Perk, allowing you to detect nearby enemies when you spawn in, which is remarkably potent for this build. Overall, this build should prevent you from being caught up in the more frustrating things in Black Ops 7, keeping you off the grid while also revealing the enemy’s equipment to you. This is a rushdown class through and through and fits the Dravec 45 perfectly!
