With Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault released into early access, players can now begin pillaging dungeons and selling all the expensive treasures to the local townsfolk. Along with propping up your village’s local economy, you will be able to complete a variety of side quests for the key denizens you’ll meet.
Several of these are for the potion brewer, Eris. After entering Zephyr Fields for the first time, she will have another vision leading you to a hidden, unique item somewhere in the dungeon. Here’s how to complete A Hidden Treasure In Aeolia and what it unlocks.
How To Complete A Hidden Treasure In Aeolia
Upon receiving the quest, you will need to head into the Zephyr Fields dungeon. Thankfully, you won’t be going far, because the hidden path is located right at the start of this zone! From the spawn area, make your way along the left side of the platform and circle around the back. You will find a zipline there that takes you up to a hidden path above.
Follow the path until you reach a portal and take it to the hidden zone. In this room, you will need to navigate a maze of wires to reach the end of the path. Thankfully, the only hazard is actually falling off the edge, which is pretty difficult to do unless you’re actively trying to fall.
When you arrive in the hidden area, follow the ziplines until you reach a three-way intersection. From here, you will need to navigate the maze via ziplining from one floating island to another. Using the photo above as a reference, the directions you can go are Up, Down, Left, or Right. We will use these directions even as you change positions via the ziplines.
The correct order to reach the scroll from the maze’s starting island (shown above) is:
- Down
- Right
- Right
- Up
- Left
- Up
- Left (This zipline will take you to a lower platform)
- Down
- Left
Upon reaching the end, you will find the scroll that gives the recipe for the Blo-Blaster gun. Now, you can either continue exploring the dungeon or just portal back home to make your new firearm. Instead of the blacksmith, you’ll need to visit Babyl in the eastern portion of the town to make this weapon. It will cost you 2,000 Gold and 4 Oneiric Quartz to make the Blo-Blaster.
Remember, you can only get Oneiric Quartz from the Zephyr Fields dungeon or by purchasing it from Nou for 2,500 Gold each.
The Blo-Blaster trades shot capacity for raw damage, making it one of the best ranged weapons in all of Moonlighter 2. While you may not be able to fire as frequently, this thing packs a punch and is great for picking off ranged or floating foes out of the air. It’s a personal favorite, and I strongly recommend it for anyone who mainly uses their gun to deal with problematic enemies.
