Blueprints are the backbone of progress in Arc Raiders, turning your scavenged scraps into real, battle-ready gear. But like any good loot-driven game, finding them isn’t as simple as cracking open every random container you see. Some spots and storage types are far more generous than others, and knowing where to look can mean the difference between hours of fruitless scavenging and a steady stream of rare upgrades.
There are a few key locations and tricks that’ll seriously boost your odds. Here’s what you need to know about how blueprint drops work, and where to start hunting if you want your next raid to actually pay off.
How To Find Blueprints
In Arc Raiders, blueprints are part luck, part strategy. Almost any loot source can drop them, but you’ll have much better odds focusing on high-tier loot zones and rare container types. Areas marked as higher rarity tend to yield more valuable items in general, and that includes blueprints. Locked or barred doors are also worth prioritizing, as the loot hidden behind them is almost always superior to what’s lying out in the open.
When you’re searching containers, pay attention to backpacks, duffel bags, weapon crates, silver raider caches, and other specialized storage points that spawn across the map. These have a much higher chance of dropping a blueprint than more generic loot boxes or floor drops.
Keep an eye out for these whenever you’re in an elevated loot zone or working through a locked area. You’ll start to notice a pattern in where blueprints tend to appear most often.
Best Places To Farm Blueprints
Here are some of the most reliable locations in Arc Raiders to consistently find and farm blueprints.
Dam Battlegrounds Broken Bridge
Head to the Dam Battlegrounds. One of the best blueprint farming spots is tucked beneath the raised highway where it ends, between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge. You’ll find a raider cache spawn in a small gap there. The easiest way to reach it is by using a zipline from the ground, though you can also drop from the highway above and use a vault to grab the ledge mid-fall. This spot consistently rewards blueprints.
I personally check this location every time I play Dam Battlegrounds. It’s that good at providing blueprints.
Dam Battlegrounds Dam Ledge
Another strong farming route lies further up the dam itself on the lower section of the map. Approach from the right side and make your way along the narrow sidewalks on the ledge of the Floodgates, lowering each bridge section as you go. Two of the doors along this path will be barricaded, and opening them not only reveals rare loot containers but often nets you a blueprint or two.
Be sure to search the area just southeast of this spot, too. Raider caches can occasionally spawn among the debris scattered across the open, overgrown terrain.
Blue Gate Village
For players who have progressed further and acquired the Blue Gate Village Key, the village west of the Blue Gate map zone is one of the most reliable blueprint sources in the game. Use your key to unlock the large double doors near the center of the area. Inside, you’ll find several high-tier containers with a strong likelihood of dropping blueprints. It’s not quite as easy to farm due to the key requirement, but the results are almost always worth it.
This is our go-to blueprint farming spot that requires a key. We’ve also got a full key guide you can check out since most locked areas tend to yield blueprints far more often than open ones.
