So many characters in Pokemon Legends: Z-A are endearing, memorable individuals that are hard to dislike and harder to forget. And Jacinthe is at least impossible to forget. With her Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe O tournament, you may think you have the right to finally put her entitled ambitions to rest and teach a little humility on the way.
While we must admit that there is something therapeutic about repeatedly destroying Jacinthe’s team, it has now been ten business days, and we haven’t found our way out of the hotel. If you’re brave enough to face this pink pariah of psychopathy, know that — win or lose — you may never get to leave the hotel again.
How To Defeat Jacinthe’s Final Tournament: “Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe O”
Once you complete 20 Reward Matches, this final side mission will appear at Hotel Richissime. Walk up to the hotel’s front doors, and Lebanne will be there waiting, having expected you (ominous).
Follow her directions by going into the hotel and meeting Jacinthe on the top floor. There, she will tell you about this splendid new tournament she has devised: “Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe O” — where the O stands for “Only” and the rest stands for entitlement.
There will be no announcement when this side mission is available. The only indication this quest is available is the Side Mission “!” that will appear over Hotel Richissime.
The goal of this tournament is to defeat Jacinthe four times in a row to claim victory — no breaks. Although she is not as strong as L was, she is no pushover of an opponent either, so you need to be at the top of your game.
She has a team of six pokemon with a Fairy-type focus. The full list of her team and their specs are listed in the table below:

All of Jacinthe’s pokemon can and will use Plus Moves instead of normal attacks where available and effective.
To defeat Jacinthe, there are two important things to keep in mind throughout the tournament:
- You will always start your battles against Jacinthe leading with the pokemon you ended the previous battle with.
- Do not worry about healing midfight unless you are desperate. Jacinthe will heal your pokemon at the end of each round (she’s not a poor sport!).
Above these two things, you should always be aiming for a super-effective move. While Jacinthe has a tiny bit of coverage overall, pokemon with access to Steel-type moves but resistance to her Fire-type counters will shine above others.
Steel-wing Talonflame or Iron Tail Charizard can sweep Jacinthe’s full team with a threat only from a Rock Blast by Aurorus. Carbink’s Stone Edge is only a threat if one-shotting after Stealth Rock fails.
Should you be able to overcome Jacinthe’s onslaught of battles, you will have cleared the final Side Mission available in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Your reward for this momentous task will be:
- x30 Luxury Balls
- 300,000 Poke Dollars
- The right to rebattle Jacinthe endlessly at any time
The right to rebattle does not manifest as a normal single-instance fight. Instead, challenging Jacinthe opens up the “Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe Infinite,” meaning you will fight against Jacinthe infinitely — over and over and over again — until you can fight no longer. Your goal then is just to rack up as many wins as you can. Sound fun? For Jacinthe, maybe.
