Easiest Wild Zones To Shiny Hunt In Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Easiest Wild Zones To Shiny Hunt In Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Pokemon Legends: Z-A might introduce a new combat system and plenty of quality-of-life (QoL) improvements, but ultimately, the best part comes down to the same thing: finding the best places to hunt for shiny Pokemon. If putting together your ideal team for the start of the game means finding as many shinies as you can, then these Wild Zones will be like home to you.

You’ll also want to familiarize yourself with these beginner tips to get your shiny hunting journey started, with recommendations for the best Wild Zones to catch shinies. Enjoy swimming in a team of shinies after farming these Wild Zones.

Wild Zone 19

Wild Zone 19 is one of the most unique Wild Zone locations thanks to its unusual layout that is still almost 100 percent visible from the outside borders around the area. The lower portion of the field area is packed with Kangaskhan with some Furfrou and Audino occasionally mingling.

However, the upper portion of the hill is where the best action is, as you’ll find Cleffa and Clefairy spawns around the gazebo area, or a Drampa if they’re not around. Both groups at the top often spawn as Alpha Pokemon, so check back if you’re looking for one here.

Wild Zone 3

Wild Zone 3 is one of the best early game Wild Zones to farm for shinies, especially if you’re a fan of Pikachu or are looking for another adorable Pokemon to add to your squad. While none of these Pokemon are particularly strong, the aesthetics and cute factors are strong here.

In addition to the variety of cute Pokemon, there are benches inside this area, which makes it easy to reset the spawns and more efficiently farm for shiny spawns while you’re still in the Wild Zone.

Wild Zone 1

The very first Wild Zone is a better shiny hunting haven than you’d assume, primarily due to the variety and ease of access, but you can also find a set of benches just down the road near the Pokemon Center. Pichu, Pidgey, and Fletchinder are all cute Pokemon with the potential to remain on your team for a while, so the shiny hunt won’t go to waste.

The proximity to a Pokemon Center is also really handy for farming in case you run out of Poke Balls, so you can restock in a flash. Last, but not least, the low-level Pokemon here will be easier to catch, especially if you have Great Balls or Ultra Balls in your inventory on return trips.

Wild Zone 7

Wild Zone 7 is a haven for vibrant shiny color palettes, with Pokemon like Kakuna, Audino, and Shuppet as the major standouts in this group.

You can argue in favor of the viability of most Pokemon in this Wild Zone, so using them on your team won’t put you at a disadvantage.

The zone itself is also nicely set up for farming, with several benches within the borders of the enclosed space, which features a very quick farming loop due to the limited space. While needing to reset the limited number of spawns here can be tedious, your shiny checks will be quick.

Wild Zone 18

Wild Zone 18 is packed with an incredible quality of Pokemon, featuring popular shiny choices like Fennekin, Bagon, Swablu, and Noibat, among others. The Alpha Salamence you can find regularly is also a major bonus to your shiny hunting prospects while you’re here.

Aside from the wonderful group of pseudo-legendary Pokemon on the ground, the rooftops offer some appreciated variety to this Wild Zone without making it difficult to farm.

Wild Zone 8

Wild Zone 8 features an excellent concentration of Ground-type Pokemon, making it one of the best places to shiny farm for a Pokemon within that type. The standout shiny superstar is Gible, and its rare spawn rate is only one part of the challenge for shiny hunting here.

Luckily, this is a great place to shiny hunt thanks to the enclosed loop that features a handful of Pokemon burrowed underground. Once you awaken these Pokemon, you can reset the area and try again for a rare shiny.

Wild Zone 11

Wild Zone 11 doesn’t feature the widest variety of Pokemon, but the ones who are featured are great choices who will slot nicely into almost any team. Shiny Gyarados is obviously a crowd favorite, but Inkay, Clauncher, and Slowpoke offer solid shinies combined with their excellent abilities in battle.

Aside from the cool Pokemon to shiny hunt, there are benches inside this zone along with multiple levels and multiple potential Alpha Pokemon spawns.

Wild Zone 16

The best Wild Zone for shiny farming has to be Wild Zone 16, which gives you an opportunity at a shiny Froakie for your eventual Greninja, along with Medicham, Starmie, Falinks, and Flaaffy shiny chances that are all worth celebrating.

If the Pokemon available wasn’t an exciting enough aspect of the Wild Zone, you’ll be even more relieved to know that this area is small enough to quickly make loops and farm for shiny spawns without too much trouble. There aren’t any benches inside for easy resets, but no place is perfect.
