A brand new platformer set in the underwater realm of Bikini Bottom will soon set sail, but you can take it for a spin early with a playable demo.
Yes, a demo version of SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is available now on PS5, weighing in at just under 5 GB.
The demo gives you a glimpse at the early moments of the game, a 3D platformer in which you can swap between SpongeBob and Patrick at will.
There’s a ghostly theme running through the adventure, as the notorious Flying Dutchman has caused havoc and turned half the town into green ghouls — including SpongeBob.
However, Patrick and SpongeBob are able to swap between their mortal bodies and their ghostly forms whenever they want, and you’ll need to do this throughout the game to take advantage of their unique abilities.
It’s a fairly generous demo, so you should be able to work out whether it’s worth a purchase ahead of its launch on 18th November.
