If you’re a big fan of the horror adventure games that sneak up on you and take you (and possibly a friend) by storm for a while, then hopefully you’ve gotten your hands on Reanimal, an indie title that puts you into the shoes of a pair of orphaned children trying to figure out a mystery that’s blanketed over its entire short runtime.
When you’re finished and have rolled credits after either of the game’s two endings, you might find yourself wanting to check out other games like Reanimal in some way, and thankfully enough, that’s where we come in!

While it’s easily the least horrifying of the games we’re recommending in our list of other games like Reanimal, if you found yourself playing the story in co-op mode and are interested in getting another hit of two-player adventure games, then this is a good pick. You’re playing as parents in the midst of a divorcer whose daughter has turned them into inanimate dolls wishing they’d stay together.
Reanimal Review – An Evolution Of Nightmares
Reanimal is a fantastic evolution of the Little Nightmares formula, with only a couple of hiccups to show for the transition.
Though it’s cartoonish and cute on the surface unlike the general dread that hangs over Reanimal, It Takes Two is a cooperative puzzle-solving title that’ll offer hours of fun for two that maintains the darker themes of the games on this list despite packaging them in much more colorful, friendly-looking packages.
